Ron Dreyer*  is thrilled to be a part of this talented cast. Recently: Laurence in Romeo & Juliet (Shakespeare in the Park-ing Lot).  Off-Broadway: Satyricon (the Beckett), Creon in Mythos Oedipus (LaMaMa). NY Favorites: The Balcony (Medicine Show Theatre), Bringing Up Lester (Vital Theatre Co.), Bee (The Drilling Co.) TV & Film: Sex in the City Movie, The Guitar, New Amsterdam, Law & Order, As the World Turns.  His voice can be heard on TV, Radio & Audio books.





Andrew Firda*
Andrew is delighted to return to the Metropolitan Playhouse where he was last seen in the East Village Chronicles.  Other Metropolitan Playhouse - Poefest, Twainathon, Haunting,  Arden of Faversham, The City and The Showoff.  Off-Broadway - The Pearl Theatre.  Regional - Northern Stage, Smoky Mountain Shakespeare Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, and The Monomoy Theatre in Chatham, MA.  MFA from Ohio University.

Michael Hardart* returns to Metropolitan Playhouse, having most recently directed one evening of the East Village Chronicles, Vol 4 series. As actor at Metropolitan: Andre, The Octoroon, Devil's Disciple, Metamora, The City, East Village Chronicles, vol. 1.  He has most recently appeared in A Month of Sundays for The Public Theater of Lewiston, ME.   He has also appeared in New York in Eleanor Rigby is Waiting (New York Fringe Festival);  The Baby Is Blue (Incumbo Theatre Company) for the Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York; Four Dogs and a Bone (Michael Howard Studios); The Doctor of Rome (Revolving Shakespeare Company); and Hurlyburly (Willie Bobo Productions).  Regionally he's appeared at the Bristol Riverside Theatre in Moon Over Buffalo and The Rainmaker (Iowa Touring Theatre Company).




Alex Roe  Artistic Director of Metropolitan since 2001, his productions have included Denial, The Octoroon, Haunted, The Scarecrow, Children’s Crusader, Metamora, Arden of Faversham, Pick Up Ax, Fashion, Bacchus, Dom Juan, and Salem (published in 2006 by New York Theatre Experience.) As an actor, he has appeared here as Jesse James and Richard Dudgeon. Alex is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.

Television: "All My Children" and "Law & Order: SVU”. She is a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and The London Academy of Theater and the Barrow Group and has studied with the improv group the Groundlings.
